About Me

Hi friends, I’m Katie, and I’m a photo-fanatic from Fargo, ND. I have an artistic spirit and photography has always been one of my passions. I love capturing life’s special moments. I love turning my camera on natural beauty.

I started my professional photography career working as the second shooter at numerous weddings. My photos have been used by vintage stores and local politicians in their social media and digital marketing. I went to college for anthropology, but continued photography part time.

After college I found a great job at an international veterinary non-profit and relocated to Washington. My job has let me continue honing my photography skills. I have had the awesome experience of capturing portraits of people and their pets in Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, and Peru. I’ve also gotten to dabble in wildlife photography documenting seal rescue and releases.

I recently moved back to the Fargo-Moorhead area with my husband and our furbabies. Photography continues as my passion and part time freelance job. The urban forests and open plains of the Midwest and its wonderful people are a great canvas for the digital eye.
